I think it is time that I let my friends and dare I say strangers in on my life, my loves, my every things. Which maybe I already do, but not in this way, not written down. To be honest I need a new outlet, something to hold me accountable. I can’t write in a journal without thinking someone will read it, so might as well take the full leap!
From what I know (little) the world is big, humungous even. With complex humans like myself just trying to enjoy and appreciate what we can. Not to be hyperbolic but I’VE SEEN SOME THINGS, and I’m thinking… its time I share.
I have wanted to start this Substack and even created the whole website in 2021. Now that it is 2024 I think I can actually be intentional with ASK JEAVS. As I metaphorically put a flag in the ground staking my claim, I Jeavonna state that this newsletter will be special :).
I want to chit chat about any and everything deep and wide, with of course the requests of others. How can this be Ask Jeavs without any questions placed in the cultural search engine (my inbox). After my “journal” portion each week, I want to be able to answer the questions of the moment, so please feel free to send me over anything, even if it is not a question and something you’re passionate about. Send emails or comments and I will slate them in!
So it will go from “J’s journal time” to “J answers the people” capiche? I will also be workshopping some new titles henceforth.
